Why do I have warning lights on my dash?

Warning lights appear for a number of reasons, some minor, and some quite serious including;

  • Tyre pressures are incorrect (newer vehicles)
  • Component failure
  • Electrical system fault
  • Engine management fault
  • Oil levels low

  • Braking system / ABS system needs attention
  • Power assisted steering fluid low
  • Screen washers require top up
  • Coolant / Antifreeze / Heating system requires attention
